for what i've read D3 will be in stores on late august and HL2 has been shortly delayed another time for late summer (end of september or so). will d3 ship more because of it "early" date?? will d3 be bait by hl2?? still all of this it's unofficial but as a final personal impression i've wondering how polls like this can be done:

Yeh, u have been able to get Doom3 on suprnova.org for weeks I think... Strangely you can get Garfield too... but another story.

Must be the beta leaks, I think. The final isn't even out of the CD fabs (atleast that's what we're led to believe).
they're out and about. It is released in retail stores Friday. So it's out of Fabs atleast the first bunch of em. Though the links if it's been for a few weeks it's most likely a beta. If it's last few days, perahps final.
after today all the versions in s*******.org where betas leaked but today the original 3 cds version (~1700mb) it's posted, it includes a keygen that means it's the final version with key check. i'm waiting for a review in a few hours otherway i would have to download, test 1 day and if it runs ok with my system specs i'll buy it the 13th that it's released in spanish 
i didint.. i waited by as people payed $850AU + for Radeon 9800 vpus.
and scored a nice 9800 pro 128meg for $360AU only 2 weeks before doom3 is ready to go .. HL2 isnt to far off either.
not like the pros are any slower than the Xts... lol and i oced this b***h up to 425mhz core and it has 600mhz 2.5ns gddr2 - oced that to 700
this card is a Beast !!

it's the problem with new gpus, in 6 months their price goes down a 50%
just picked up my copy of doom III from gamestop about 5 hours ago.. been playing ever since. man its beautiful.

Since I'm in BFE I ordered mine this morning. I'll test it out on my 120" screen when I get it (it will scare my 3 yr old out of the room

the problem w/ dIII is it has no support for widescreen... i havent tried it, but ive seen alot of people crying about it.
as for screenies.. sold some of the pieces of my server for $$$$ to make up for the new vidcard.. and i havent put it back together yet.. and prat took carry of the screenie itch anyhoo

Naturally people are bound to be sceptic of this forum post, especially considering the incident with the fake gold announcment recently; however I have personally confirmed it with Gabe and so have a few other people too. From here on I'd like to urge everybody not to contact Gabe for anymore confirmations. There's only so many times in one day you can reply "yes" to an e-mail!
