Hi there, im new to this smile.gif

i got a serious prob with my boot menu
ive done the same things as on the tutorial page by flaykite and even made my own bootsectors but im always gettin this error msg:

extract of cdshell.ini:

XP_Pro_d_Key:
if $lastKey == key[1]; then chain /PRO1.DAT
if $lastKey == key[2]; then chain /PRO2.DAT

and if i execute cdshw to preview the menu and i go into the XP_Pro_d section it says:

file not found
[Command: chain] line .... [File: cdshell.ini]

/multib~1/aio-dvd/boot

can any1 help me with this info or do i have to include some files as attachment?
thx
Alanoll
don't worry about it.

If the DAT files are in the same folder as CDSH, remove the /. If not, you're going to have to assume its right and test. (You can burn a CD with just the CDSH and DAT files to test the menu fully).

Basically, with / , it's looks for the files specified in the root of the current drive. Which is why a CD works, and HDD doesn't.

When it finds the file, the error you should get in CDSHW.COM is something about COMMAND NOT AVAILABLE
