Check this thread for a tool that will help you out.
lilweirddude
i tried using /VERYSILENT /SP-
but a screen still pops up asking if i want to install it
Nologic
Is it a freeware app? If so then maybe I can whip up a script for it...if its not insane to install. newwink.gif

Okay found it...it is freeware...so I'll take a look at what I can do...tho in turn I'll hope that you will also take up writing scripts and sharing them with others. Makes life easier for every one. smile.gif
lilweirddude
oh thanks
yeah i know, I'm trying to learn but oh where to start
well, i'm off to bed
thanks for your help
Nologic
Well where to start...hmm how about hunting through the attached script and getting a feel for it...then move on and try your own hand at this.

I'm just learning my self...so I keep finding new ways of doing things for the better.

Any ways install AutoIt, edit the scripts user var's to what you like, compile the script and place it next to the install file, then just call the compiled AutoIt script from RunOnce or your batch file...or how ever you do it and the script should run smooth as silk.

Updated.....victim of a bad copy paste....hehe had two "then" statements back to back.

Updated....typo error
Nologic
Also the file for Protowall if you use that as well

Updated....blah typo managed to slip by sad.gif
lilweirddude
ah, thanks, i'll check them out
be on the look out for scripts by me soon ;-)
lilweirddude
hm...i compiled the scripts to .exe's and the wont work
i get "error: this keyword cannot be used after a "then" keyword"
i get this error on both of them
Nologic
hmm run it as just a script and see if you can get a line number...I'll look into it...hands tied up right now.

Heh okay never mind found the issue...bad copy paste deal....no idea how I managed it but I did...try the scripts now...they have been updated.

Sorry about that.
lilweirddude
alright, thanks for the effort
Nologic
Your welcome...hope it didn't cost you a disk. sad.gif
lilweirddude
nope
but thanks for your concern
lilweirddude
hm....it opens up alright but I have to press the next button for blocklist manager and the protowall one doesnt work at all
i think i'm gonna try to make an msi or something
thanks anyway Nologic
atlas95
How to install silently the service of protowall please ?
lilweirddude
i dont know how yet but thats next on my to do list
atlas95
Ok cool newwink.gif
Nologic
ProtoWall managed to get a typo in it...now fixed

As for it not working at all....all I can think of is that your not toying with the Beta which is what the script was done for....I'll look into doing the release version later today if possible.
Nologic
Fixed...blah the same frigging typo sad.gif
lilweirddude
heh, thanks for the multiple scripts
3rd time's a charm, hopefully
atlas95
That install the service???
Nologic
Not as of yet...haven't even looked into that....this is the first time I ever monkeyed around with these apps. smile.gif
