so wat i use /quiet /passive switch? and y is it like 3 times bigger then original installer?just wondering i dont mind i just want to know.thx again.
totoymola
To install it, simply use /qn, /qb, /quiet, ect.. All the regular msi switches should work because I used msi version 3.0 (I think)

It's bigger than the original installer, because theres no easy way to compress an msi. But for some softwares, I can make the msi smaller compared to the original exe installer. I don't know why.. smile.gif
EdGaR
ok koo.thx for such a fast reply.thx again!

what i have to write in my application.bat to install it in silent mode?

start /wait DAMN_NFO_Viewer_2.10.0032_RC_3.exe

From RunOnce is like other entries, but no switches.
phantom2
sorry for my bad english, but i don't understand you very well: i would like to use application.bat....so which type of switch i have to use????
Grake
it's a switchless installer, meaning, just type in the name of the file as he mentioned in the post above yours.
phantom2
oooooooooooook thank you very much!!!
phantom2
ok, it works! but it asks me if i want to set it like default ndo viewer: how can i fix that?
radix

It ask you but, that window is closed by the script.
If it ask you later when you start from the first time **** Nfo Viewer this is not a problem.
BabisSougias
Been looking for this too. Thanx smile.gif
phantom2
it asks me that during application.bat....but when i click yes, installation can't go on...

For me it works fine. I uploaded a version which kills the process started after installation.

Without any switch right??? because i think that i've used your version, intreted with application.bat...but it asks me if i want to set it like default ndo viewer..in the application.bat i've wrote:

start /wait %systemdrive%\APPLICATION\Nfo Viewer\Nfo Viewer.exe

What switch?
That is switchless silent installer.
phantom2
