Are there any new/recent N64 emulators? The best one is of course Project64 but that hasn't been updated in years. Was wondering about something else? Anyone have any clues? My girlfriend loves the Mario 64 and Mario Kart game, lol...but I am getting more ROMs.

ngemu seems to be the best emulator related website imo.
though there has been steady work on n64 emulators, I think that project64 is still considered the best for speed and compatibility. but you can find out here:

[EDIT] OK i went and looked, it looks like the graphics plugins (ie Glide64) for Project64 and other emulators has been improving for a while, otherwise there is a new emu called Mupen64 which is designed as an multi-OS n64 emu.

There was a mini-update for Project64 1.5 SP1 in case you missed it ealier as well.

i suggest Project64 or 1964, some systems dont like certain emulators though, recommended you have a decent spec pc

My girlfriend used to have Wetrix and said she liked it.

I have found the ROM to try it, but I can't find an emulator that will run it properly, anyone know of one?

Yeah, Project 64 is the best one out there right now, just make sure your 3D plugins for it are up to date, and dont forget that you have to tweak some of the settings to get certain games to work. You also might want to check out this Adaptoid thing, it's the only N64 controller adapter out there that supports the rumble pack and I have heard good things about it.
