shell32.dll

Do a search for it onyour box, then make a copy.

Open it with res hacker and go from there.

Look into shell32.dll. They're not icons, but bmps. The whole toolbar is in a bmp, just like YzToolbar themes.

MCT I use two programs to do my shell32.dll hacking.

I have iconExtract and resource hacker.

think of Icon Extract as your viewer. It shows you all the icons in shell32 and their location.

so for example i want to change my folder icons. I look for the default icon.
then use resource hacker to replace the ico

you can get some nice icons from tweaksxp or iconfactory.

please also note that if u hv the regtweak to display my document, my computer, and my network neighborhood. u need to also update
the registry keys.

otherwise they will revert to the default icon.
