For Dutch 98 SP 2.0 Release I'm including Dutch TweakUI 1.33,

TweakUI_NL.zip
Installation goes through the inf, right-click it and select install.

Update:

Link is up again,

finally the complete Dutch Tweak UI with Dutch help file. See if it works properly, if it contains no spelling mistakes or whatever not working.

Take a deep look at the helpfile. 130 pages of translated material thumbup.gif

I need this tested to see there are no glitches with it. Please post found spelling mistakes, broken sentences etc. into this thread.

Thanks in advance welcome.gif

i did test it and so far no error's
exept for 1, when i try to uninstall it from XP i get a error "file not found"
Acheron
Great, I will include it.

For removal just remove tweakui.cpl from the windows\system32 directory in Windows XP

btw why not translate the TweakUI for xp SP1
i know stupit question in 98 forum, but still?
Acheron
Sixpack, why don't you ask Microsoft?

Only reason for me to translate Tweak UI 1.33 is to have the 98 SE Service Pack dutch. BTW I still need to patch keyb.com to work properly.

Hm. Resource Workshop is bugging it too, but i have a workaround. May be you know program what modifies sysdm.cpl without errors?
Acheron
I do have some system files had popping up errors in exescope. I just ignored them. I need to test it anyway.

Unfortunately i don't know another one who can edit files with NE header confused.gif
perhaps it can be eXeScope in conjunction with any hex-editor (Hiew or HT-edit, f.e.) for editing of bad-recognized dialog-boxes -- of course it is not the best way....

@EgoZ:

I finally getting to know how to use a hexeditor myself. If you know what to look for it is not that hard to understand.

I translated latest keyb.com to dutch by slightly increasing the English file. Thanks for your advise smile.gif

For the rest:

prepare for release in a few days. All files are now ready for the package

thumbup.gif Yes - it' so easy! and keyb.com can be made in one minute (much thanks for new one) - simple clip from the offset 00004760 up to the end of old your language version file, resizing new file to the size of old your one + 16Bytes, and paste clipped data to the new one from the offset 00004770 - thats all smile.gif

Hello hp38guser,

are you able to give me any hint (or better step-by-step guide) how to translate the help file? I have translated tweakui.cpl to Czech language and I'm considering to translate the hlp too - but so far I don't know why.

I used three tools:

1. helpdeco.exe to decompile the Tweak UI help file.

2. OpenOffice.org as my favourite Textwriter.

3. Microsoft Help Workshop to compile the help file. welcome.gif
