Hi,
I stumbled on to this site a couple days ago. Its pretty cool.
My wifes office computer needs to be reformatted and have a fresh install. Due to some type of corruption it is now running on MS system recovery. Everything is installed and working fine at the moment. Would Win98 SE SP install over this. It would give us an opportunity to check it out with less work if she can't deal with it.

if your wife's PC is using Win98 SE, the Win98se SP should not interfere with
the Microsoft System Recovery tool. I would suggest running Sys recovery first
to get things set in order and then install the Win98se SP when you are done restoring
all the important data files on your wife's computer.
