Abit BE6 will not load the ATA66 driver.

never do an upgrade.. it fills your pc with junk left over from the previous OS and will run like the guy from cutoffmyfeet.com

I agree totally. I tried that and my motherbaord drivers would not load. Having said that, maybe I souldn't say the Abit board works. I am quiting Abit after several baords over the years. They are not providing drivers as they should.
