hello,

i have a big problem and i don't know why.

I have a windows xp cd without any servicepacks. Also the first version. Then i have slipstreamed sp1 at first and sp2 at second.

The following structure of my folders are:

- WINXP_CD_ROOT
->$OEM$
->$OEM$->$1
->$OEM$->$1->Install

but when i tried the Setup, the cmdlines in the $1 Folder execute in the T-12 step.
But the other Folders will not copie to the hdd. I have no Folder "Install" on my drive after the installation process. Where is the problem ?

I have also styles in $$->Resources->Themes

but also this folder will not copied to the hdd.

Can anyone help me to solve the problem.

1. xp cd > extract to c:\xp >>
2. download sp2 + all hotfixes. you can find what u need to download from here.
3. download IcemanND's superior integration script to integrate sp2 and all hotfixes. IcemanND's Script
4. create winnt.sif using the xp sp2 deployment tool Read how to use it here
5. Read how to use $oem$ here
6. Make sure that your winnt.sif has this line in it.

This option is default to No but if you are using the $OEM$ Distribution folders then it needs to be set to Yes, so that Setup regards this installation as a distribution and copies these files over to the system drive. This occurs at the end of Text-mode Setup.

* you dont have to install sp1 then sp2.
