the single player demo is out. Pretty heavy for older system but man is it creepy. Its up there w/ system shock 2 and the marine missions from AvP2.

I agree with you Porn Loader this game is very creepy. I was playing last night and the voices alone had my pupils dilated like crazy and then i was about to turn around I nearly sharted myself when a dark silhouette in the distance flashed across the screen and when I went to get ready to fire there was nothing there. This game definitely plays with your mind. You should give it a try if your not to afraid.LOL!!! ohmy.gif

Will give it a shot in 4-6 months when I can afford all new PC parts, my gf's Dell doesn't even have an AGP slot. Even if it did, I doubt it could handle this graphics. I f___cking HATE DELL!!!

Thanks for the heads-up Porn Loader.

I downloaded it the other night and had a quick blast. Didnt have the sound very high or use headphones - didnt want to be unsocialable as peope were in the room hehe

Really liked what I saw - real good use of sound and timing of events smile.gif

Much like the first Silent Hill games (never bought SH 3 and 4 as the monsters were too stupid to scare you lol) which were pants-fillingly good.

One of the only games I'm looking forward to getting - along with COD2 smile.gif

Cheers

good luck on that one, it beats the heck out of my desktop (a64 4000+, BFG 7800gtx, 1gig mushkin black LVL II pc3500 bh-5) but hopefully its because of the beta status...

Yeah, the game is really scary...
After this and The Ring I begin to be afraid of the little girls with dark long hair newwink.gif

The graphics is really good, and physics too.

Well, I like it, I want it, but HUGE upgrade is needed.

The game's already been released guys, where's all the discussions and thoughts?

Havent played it yet but just seen the spec's for it and man does that take some machine to run it, looks cool though can see a video card upgrade coming on biggrin.gif

Probably because hardly anyone here has the system specs to handle the bloody thing...
Thai3g_Eclipse
The requirement's a bit overbearing. The game will run on older video cards fine, such as a Radeon 9800 Pro. Just turn down the details.

well i picked it up the day it came ot. definitely atmosphereic. plays alot better than the demo did, but that might be nvidias 81.85's in action. I'm only about 1/3rd thru it but im still loving it. just wish i had more time to play it.

also, best way to play is at night, w/ the surround just cranked!
thumbup.gif definitely raises the hairs on the back of your neck.
