Hello,

I'm having a problem on my network. I have my license server running on my domain controlor. All the other servers are on this domain, but one.

How can i set this computer outside the domain to use the domain's license server?
Is it possible to set it with a ip and a domain account?

Best regards.

if the computer is not in the domain its not possible to login with an account domain

Thats not entirely true barradasba....

Providing the machine in question is on the same network segment - you can log into a share on the domain server[s]. It should also aquire the IP address just by being on the same network too - depending how you have the DHCP server setup.

But unless it is attached to the domain, thats pretty much all you can do with it.

Regards
Nath

quistion is why not add it to the domain (or a privat sub-tree)
that way none of this is realy a problem...
