well the sims 2 nightlife was released today, any1 here have it, i might be getting it tomorrow. ive always loved the sims, have every singles expansion since the 1st sims.

I love the sims also, got sims 2 university, havent got nightlife yet...am curious as to what it is really like though!

You downloaded it over the weekend? Or it took you the whole weekend to find a place to buy it? If you DLed it, then you didn't have any right to get all up tight about the Doom 3 CD Key thing. If you bought it, then good stuff.

i bought it, if you read the 1st post then it says " i might be getting it tomorrow". which means i might be buying it.

That doesn't necessarily mean you would be buying it at all. Might mean you planned on downloading it from a friend's FTP Server, for example. Anyway, nothing is certain unless specified.

But no need to jump to conclusions, wasn't called for...anyway, I'll leave it at that, don't need to turn into a b**ching topic....


So, what can you do with Nightlife? what kinda features etc? maybe a screen shot?

well it only really adds the downtown and card, pretty much it. i love the cars tho b/c you can drive to work yourself and you dont have to pay a cab to go places. there are so many places to go downtown too.

Fraps does an excellent job at recording gameplay. It captures anything that uses DirectX. It records using raw AVI, super high quality. Whatever it looks like on your monitor is what the video is going to look like. Of course the trial version only records for 30 seconds... but if you buy it, and capture some really exciting adrenaline-rushing gameplay, you could make a DVD of it and relive it whenever you wanted. Hehehe.

that is a quality piece of kit, but at $37ut £21....bit steep for a program that just captures AVI...call me tight fisted...but i think i'll just stick to cloning my desktop and sending the picture to my DVD recorder

that would be horrible for hosting on the web of posting pics on this forum. image the size, lol. but if its just for youself then id would work amazingly

Obviously, conversion down to a reasonable filesize would be done after capture.
