Sure! You a star now newwink.gif

Hmmm... This magazine DOES get exported to the gulf, Australia & a few western countries as well. Probably some big bookstore in your city has this on sale. smile.gif

But if you don't manage to get hold of the printed magazine, here's the online archive of the same:
1. Go to - http://pcquest.com/archive/listArchive.asp?mode=seek
2. Select September 2005.
3. Click this article - Pack Power into Windows - Sanjay Majumder

If you want direct link to article - http://pcquest.com/content/search/showarti...74697&mode=disp
(it will be PUBLICLY readable after 45 days of publication - they do this so that paid subscribers get an exclusive service)

If you would like, then I can post photos of the magazine cover & the page where this review appears, etc.

I wouldn't mind seeing those scans/pics either... newwink.gif thumbup.gif
prathapml
Here they are: smile.gif

This is only a quick photo of the pages. I might post a high-resolution scan later...
You might like to save & store them somewhere, cuz the above link may not always be up.
prathapml
In the article above (pic #2) - the top 2 screenshots are of the program.
The bottom 2 screenshots are of the multi-boot menu, running within Virtual PC.

btw, PC Quest is a magazine which has been around since 23 years. Almost everyone who works in the IT field in this country, recognises it. They claim to have around a lakh subscribers, and readership/circulation figures is well around the 1 million mark.
ringfinger
Wow! That's great... Congrats!
Siginet
biggrin.gif I can almost read it. Thanks for the scan. If you can get higher res scan of it... it would really be great. I can't wait to read the article.

Thanks again prathapml!

Looks like the online review is working now. smile.gif

I like the reviews it got! biggrin.gif Direct Hit! thumbup.gif
prathapml
Yes, the online link to article is working now....
But the descriptions of screenshots is mixed up with a different linux article! confused.gif
Siginet
Yeah I noticed that. sad.gif

Is Direct Hit the highest rating? smile.gif
prathapml
No, "direct hit" is not a rating!
Its a quick summary of the article, with all the important details in a few lines. Its made for people who want to read all articles quickly - they can see the "direct hit" box, & decide if the review is about something they are interested in, or not. smile.gif
That way, they need not read the whole page to know what its about, & can read only the articles they are interested in, to save time.

OH ok. newwink.gif That sounds logical. I still haven't been able to get a copy of the mag. sad.gif
I tried to order it... but I was sent the october issue instead. sad.gif
RyanVM
lol, you'd think if you wrote to them saying "Hi, you reviewed my program in your magazine. Can I please get a copy of that issue?" that they'd oblige you.

Siginet
hehe... yeah I saw that. But how often do people download from there anyways? newwink.gif
Siginet
Well... I got a copy of the PC Utilities Magazine. biggrin.gif Looks really good! Only flaw in it is that it says that you need to download the driverpack files and extract them with 7zip... which is a no no. Other then that... it is a full page review and it is a very good review as well.

Any other magazines you guys have seen it in??? thumbup.gif
