hi, i just want to know whats the best mp3 compression software to use on my MP3 player... i only got 250mb space... most of my mp3's are 1.xxmb in size... i want them to be smaller without losing too much quality.. thnx...

You do NOT want to resample existing MP3s. Doing so will cause a drop in sound quality.
If you want to re-rip your MP3s, use LAME VBR encoding to get the maximum sound quality for file size.

you can also take a look to mp3pro codec.
maximum possible quality is 96kb/s but i'm sure the amount of space saved will worth the conversion

The problem with MP3Pro is that if slimzky's player don't properly support it, it will play all files as 22 khz.
