Our newer Dell pc with XP has a pinball game that I would like to put on the older pc with 98SE. I can copy the game on a CD, but then the older pc says it cannot open the game because of missing drivers, or something. Is there a way to play the pinball game on this pc?
THanks.

My 2 cents... if you're merely copying the program flies for the XP Pinball to cd and then putting them on the 98 machine it won't work. You'll need to reinstall the game in full to write to the registry, new program files, etc.
atomizer
on your 98 PC: 'start > settings > control panel > add/remove progs > add/remove windows components' and see if you can't find the pinball game in there somewhere (though it may not be i suppose. never used SE).

Ringfinger, that's what I suspected. I must confess I am not that sharp with computers - my bad. newwink.gif
I was wondering if there is a download somewhere on the internet. I tried to find it on various Microsoft sites, but I was unable to.

I'm sure there is a download out there for it somewhere, I'm blocked behind an extememly picky firewall at the moment or I'd research for ya... although try what atomizer said, I hadn't thought about the Add/Remove Windows Components. Check under games, all you may have to do is check pinball if its not checked, click ok and pop in your 98 disk.
