Well, it may not be the most stupid thing ever, cause Ive seen some REALLY stupid things, however, this one really p***ed me off.
I was watching videos on video google, and I did a search for Bill Gates.
I found
THIS VIDEONow ... Arent those the 3 most stupid persons ever? What did Bill Gates do to them!?
Its ok they dont like Windows, wich seems to be the problem with allot of people, but ... DONT LIKE IT, DONT USE IT!
I dont think there was a reason for such a stupid thing!
I think Linux sucks a**, but I dont go and kick Linus on the balls for that! I just dont trash talk it, and dont use it!

Exactly! They are more likely to get trash talked than making a point in their cause.
I dont know why, but that video really disturbed me. I really cant belive how someone thinks that doing that will make them look cool!

Oh man, thats stupid. Those jerks should get some hardcore punishments. I feel sorry for Bill Gates, poor guy got humiliated, but not as much as those three jerks.

I thought it was funny but back to the main reason why I replied...inux sucks - Sorry dude you are extremely misinformed. Linux is far from sucking. Most people say something sucks because they don't understand it. I say Quickbooks sucks - Does it? Hell no, I just hate it around tax time.

You really have to feel sorry for Bill Gates. No matter how much you hate someone, the tactics used in that video are equivalent to those used by 1st graders.
Someone ought to throw pie at those guys for making the human race look bad.

I saw that video years ago.
You don't have to hate or dislike Windows to hit Gates in the face. I like Windows, given it's nLited... and I'd hit Gates if I had the opportunity. But, I'd do it in the most comical and creative way I could think of.

Well, I cant understand how humiliating someone like that on a live broadcast to several internacional TV stations, can be funny.

Those guys are idiots, in that interview they make Bill Gates out to be some evil tyrant. Look how much he has given to charity though, and like Windows or not he has really helped take computing from big universities and such into the average person's home. In some cases a pie in the face can be funny, but not in real life in front of millions of people. That had to be humiliating, and I imagine his feelings were hurt as well (yes he's rich but he's still a person).

whether it's funny or not is a personal choice. for me: funny as hell
if you're going to be extremely wealthy, then it's likely your going to have adversaries. again, does anyone know why he was pied?

well, the structure of that statement is pretty crappy, however i can see where they're coming from. MS is heavily involved in government and law enforcement and campaign contributions and who knows what else billy has his fingers in.

Poor Bill...currently in the 'where are they now' category. Must have been utterly humiliating. I can imagine him shuffling home to drown his sorrows in a hot tub full of Benjamins, sullen over Neil's (or whoever) sudden catapult to long-lasting fame at his expense.
Verdict: guilty as charged!
...and if he had tried that today, his cowardly act of terrorism would have gotten him an immediate rendition to a Banana-Cream Republic for some closed door justice.

It seems to me that incident made the 6 O'clock news.....but that was 8 (eight) years ago. Hard to remember.
I just hope it was a flavor of pie that Bill liked.
I'd be glad if someone would hit me with a key Lime pie with lots of really thick whipped cream on it.

Yes, Gates gives to charity as does many rich people. But don't think for one second that it's entirely out of the goodness of their hearts. It's either pay to charity (and look good in the process) or pay taxes to the government. By giving their money to charity, they get to write it off on their taxes which means that much more money *won't* go to Uncle Sam. So in fact, by donating all the money to charity, they're leaving more of the burden of the taxes for us middle-class people to fill. I'm not saying that they don't believe in the charities they donate to, but it's not just because they're generous people. There is a purpose to it all.
