I have an HP Pavilion 6630 with W98SE. I attempted to load a Nero program and I ended up with a problem which may or may not be Nero related. I finally got into the safe mode and deleted Nero, but when I attempted to reboot I still got this error screen : "An exception 0E has occurred at 0028:00770076 in VxD___this was called from 0028:c1831B90 in VxD voltrack(04)+00000430."
Does this make any sense to anybody? I am entering this on a differnt PC.
Thanks, John
Added : I am only able to reboot in safe mode. - (I am not an advanced computer person.)

I may have fixed it! I had to use an emergency boot CD to get on and then I found another Nero component, InCd that I hadn't uninstalled. I took it out and rebooted and the stupid thing worked. (I hope)

What version of Nero? I still use ver 6.x.
I've used it for years and love it.
Worlds best CD burning software,
but InCD has caused many a problem.
I won't use it or allow it to install.
Good Luck,
