Hello,

i'm currently working on 6 HFSLIP folders (XP Corp, XP PRO OEM, and XP HOME OEM) each one with 2 versions, one fully unattended, and the other just providing default install parameters.

I wanted to know if someone has got a good way to work on thoses almost same version without messing with updates, and so...

it's very realmad.gif when you have to completly rebuild a cd just because you missed a file...

It takes me 10-12 minutes to build my 2k installation. Try running scripts on each sourcess at the same time. If you have all that software, I'm sure your machine can handle it.

Your file structure could look something like this:
CODE
HF
HFCABS
HFSVPK
SOURCE-XPC
SOURCE-XPP
SOURCE-XPH

And then you rename whichever one you want to build to SOURCE until HFSLIP is done, then change it back. How do you currently have it laid out?

You could also consider using a file-sync utilities like SyncBack.

not a bad idea smile.gif was batching to reduce my source to 3 HFLIP folders simply by renaming/replacing some files.
