Is there a way to implement “Lock Taskbar” for Win98SE that runs Internet Explorer 6 SP1? Perhaps by replacing a few system files?

sorry Wijono. It is NOT possible to have the Lock Taskbar feature in Win9x systems by only replacing some Windows system files with the XP system files. you could ruin your 9x system that way (or cause 9x to have BSODs or even lockups).

Click on Free button to download the file for free. Select either one of the Rapidshare servers, enter the three letter code and click on the Download button. Rapidshare seem to work where I live as I have downloaded the actual file myself successfully.

And the risk of replacing 98se system files with the xp versions of system files may also cause 98se to be unbootable and may require re-installing Win98se from scratch to undo the damage. that can be a real pain.

I have created an INF file that will automate the update process when installing the updated files from the RPLite4 Update archive [requires original Rplite4 pack installed].

you are better off getting RPlite5 from Tihiy's web site. RPLite5 is a big improvement over RPLite4.
