I have win98 installed on my pc. I am trying to delete files from my PC but the files are not going in recycle bin. its directly deleted from the system. I had tried to dlete file from C: & D: both have same problem. but when i tried to dlete any file from desktop it goes to recycle bin. I had already checked the option in the properties of recycle bin. Every option is configured properly. I am not able to u'stand the problem.

Please help me. thx in advance.

Maybe your drives are marked as removable drives in the System Properties/Device Manager/Disk Drives.

I am not 100% sure but I think the recycle bin does not work on removable drives.
