Using Add-on Maker for Nlite:

1° - Create a folder.

2° - Put the archives of the installation on that same floder.

3° - In Files of Program select the folder where the archives of installation are.

4° - In Instalation file select the archive that you want to be executed by the system.

5º - If the installation uses switches, type them.

6° - In the descripition field, type information about the program.

7° - Click on 'Make File' and select a folder to save the archive .CAB you just created.

truly great work, this will help so many ppl out there that arent familiar with the addon pack way of installing things.

Maybe Nuhi might even consider putting it on the Nlite webpage as its certainly going to be a very valuable tool.

It installs first the version in Portuguese later places the version in English in the installed folder.

One picture is my PowerDVD 5 and there i must put the key.

i just done one for nero 7.0.2.3b and it seems to work fine i used /SN=****-****-****-****-****-****-****/WRITE_SN/PASSIVE /norestart i used passive so i could choose what parts i wanted to install but i think you can change it for quiet if you dont want to choose

I had a few issues with the program, one i got an I/O error 145, i had to close the program. At the time i didnt know it left old traces of past projects if it didnt complete. So when i tried to make a new .CAB it was a 4mb program and the cab came out to 252mb, the way i fixed this was to delete the dir and reinstall the program.

It always places 1 program for folder.
It never places more than 1 program in the same folder alone will be to make a Batch File.

I have the SAME exact problem. It doesn't populate any EXE's. WEIRD!

next version will have system of language for text, being easy the translation.

Ok, 1.1 doesn't crash, it was only because of a 1.7gb file, files.7z in the program files folder
Like the new UI in 1.2, but when selecting English (USA) some words are still Brazilian.

I will go to verify the translation

More if somebody to want to help translating into other languages. to I finish it of the translation can safe it in the folder language it N-lite Add-on Maker with extension .itc

i changed the top of the silence to say command none/ custom as well

i think found a bug if you untick 7zip it keeps coming up the folder does not contain only one executable

No it makes no difference the steam install in a folder on its own but it still does exactly the same thing. maybe someone could try it, it'd be great if i'm wrong so i can do it right these plug in creators are an excellent idea!.

Edit: forgot to mention the created cab files go into their own folder ready for integration.

what are you using to view inside the cab i use winrar and the size inside the cab is in bytes so for my adaware it says 6,913,788 bytes which is comes out as 6.54 mb

It shows the folder that you used to make .cab


Adware.exe in winrar opens this to see what it has inside

EDIT: this still wont compress adaware properly for me its been going now for the last 5 minutes or so...i've had to quit it just hangs

I am still getting no EXE or MSI populating in the dropdown. Same problem as before. See attached.

Stranger makes the following one:

he sees if he appears?

I think you are misunderstanding. I am getting the same message.
I made a silent install with winrar, and all I need to do is make it into a cab. so I uncheck the 7zip box as there is no need for it. and when I go to make the file it give that error and will not make the cab.
Is this by design?

I understood what it is happening does not leave to generate .cab
will be corrected in the next version

thanks for the tool, {_carnificina_}. works great.
what i would like to see in a future version is the option to choose compression level. for some addons i'd like to choose fastest compression level, and for some, on the other hand, i'd like to choose ultra level of compression.
thanks for the tool once again. it makes my life easier.
