http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firef...=win&lang=en-US

theres no reason this link should not work on 98se because the system requirements say that 98/98se/Me are all supported unless your using 95 it should work.

And if that's too scary, Mozilla's download page is here:
http://www.mozilla.org/download.html

They list everything they have there.

ok, so you can install firefox 1.xx.xx on 95 rather than using beta 0.8 or something alternativly you could use sea monkey which also supports 95

OR test out Firefox 2.0 beta 1 under Win95. FF 2.0B1 fixes the W9X un-installer problem found in FF versions 1.5.0.2 to 1.5.0.6. When trying to remove FF 1.5.0.2 - 1.5.0.6 under Win95/98/ME the un-installer hangs and does nothing. Win9x FF un-install bug is mentioned here:

Personally, Portable Firefox is best IMHO for Win9x systems. Get it here: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

edit: more direct link. Site states that it's compatible with Win 95 through Vista.
