I read here MSFN's Unattended Windows Boot Screens that

I have spent quite some time editing my ntoskrnl.exe, packing it into an xp install cd (in hopes of having a preinstalled custom boot screen), and wasting my time running it through vmware.

I then noticed newwink.gif

So, do I just have to do the same things I have been doing, but only with ntkrnlmp.exe?

looks like thats what youll have todo, You did set virtual processors to 2 in Vmware didnt you?

Thanks Scubar. I would definately have kept overlooking that.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a ntkrnlmp.exe editor, or guide on editing multicpu kernel?

My kernel looks like this..... WHERE IS BITMAP 10?



Could this be where my trouble lies?
