i have been trying to install an .exe file that has been sent to me, and the script editor wont open it b/c:
"Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension because it is not scriptable." so what do i do to make it scriptable?

Are you trying to open an executable file in Mac OS X? Those don't work on a Mac operating system...

ROFL... EXEs are a PC executable format.
Mac has its own format which is completely incompatible.

Don't be so pedantic. Everybody knows what he meant - PC as in the old x86 box running MS OS'es (Windows typically).
I can't help but laugh when I think someone expected Windows apps to run onto OS X

Er... Dos used EXE's... and thats not windows... Made by the same company... but not windows!

yes if u use a program for example an emulator you can emulate an .exe file on mac osx or linux or whatever but it wont run as good

Hmmm since new Intel Macs support windows why don't you just use BootCamp ?
