this is really strange. i have my xbox controller hooked up to my comp w/ vista and it worked with madden 07 a few days ago, now when i reinstalled rc1, madden just doesnt detect it, but my other games do... any suggestions here?

Unplug, plug it back in? Uninstall, reboot, detect in Device Manager? If 3rd party drivers are used, uninstall, reinstall. Go to last Vista build when it worked if nothing else worked? C'mon, the routine troubleshooting steps.
I'd say it's Vista's fault.

ive done all of that. as i said it works in my other games. so it must me a madden problem.

Uninstall, clear the registry of any/all entries made by the game, reinstall.

i did uninstall, i looke thru the registry and couldnt find any reg entries, u guess the uninstaller actually works well, unless i missed something.

ya i guess thats all i have left to do... oh well, im too lazy to do that right now, no more madden
