Wow, epic, but worthwhile bump. Found this topic in another one of those annoying "related posts" entries... boy am I impressed!

If this is possible, hope may be out there after all for the new PC market and the Vista epidemic. If I can find a single decent specced PC with XP still installed on it, that's all I need. But if it comes with Vistrash preinstalled and I had no option to the contrary, I'm going to suggest that people request a refund! I had totally forgotten about that clause of the EULA. That's pretty awesome.

I guess Vista doesn't have to trash the PC industry after all. We can just ask for our money back, then take it and go buy XP.
