It's nice that WMP11 Slipstreamer can slipstream WMP11 while the setup can't even install it on Win2003

Just bought 2GB more PC6400 memory and XP does not support 4GB while my BIOS does and Win2003 does.
boooggy and nuhi my hereos, you guys saved me

I appreciate what you both do, thank you very much!

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please report this bug.
If I integrate just WMP11 with no hotfixes there's no problem. However if I use the following updates the problem occurs:
windowsmedia11-kb928788-x86-intl.exe
windowsmedia11-kb929399-v2-x86-intl.exe
windowsmedia11-kb929773-x86-intl.exe

windowsmedia11-kb935552-x86-intl.exe
windowsmedia11-kb938232-x86-intl.exe
Before trying to integrate WMP11 I have used RyanVM's pack (RVMUpdatePack2.1.11.7z) and the updated pack (RUPUpdates-2.1.11.5-Addon.7z) using the Integrator.
Hope you can help me out here somehow..

The kb938232 hotfix has been published only 2 days ago, so I think WMPslipstreamer can't support it as for now.
Have you tried integrate all hotfixes but this one?

Um, because Microsoft never bothered coding it?
In any case it's nothing to do with Boooggy's addon.

Oh and I thought it was a registry entry.

in x32 there is a .dll registering....but in x64 register that .dll doesnt create the toolbar. not even if u install wmp11 manually.

Can you please provide me with the registry tweak to disable the license agreement screen?

That's an answer too. So if someone wants to integrate all WMP11 fixes they need to be downloaded and run in with your slipstreamer.

How do we use it via nLite Booogy?
I've used the slipstreamer as a stand alone and it works great but didn't realise it could somehow be used within nLite.
Here is what I do - use Signet's Integrator to add Ryans update pack to my SP2 CD - open the slipstreamer and point it to the i386 folder and slipstream all the updates - then I use nLite to lighten my CD.
Is there a guide to using the WMP slipstreamer in nLite - I must have missed it somehow.

http://www.nliteos.com/faq.html#Q32only one thing
add wmp11 installer in nlite hotfix page and then the fixes for wmp11.
Mandarin
Aug 11 2007, 01:51 AM
Thanks Booogy but on that link it says install the slipstreamer but in your reply you say add the slipstreamer to the hot fix page so I am confused.
Do I install the slipstreamer to my system and then also add it to the hotfix section along with any other WMP hotfixes?
Or do I add the WMP slipstreamer to the hotfix section along with the WMP 11 program and any associated hotfixes?
Or do I somehow add the WMP slipstreamer into nLite as a plug-in?
Not a biggy cos it works fine the way I do it but if there is a simpler method that does it in one step I will use that.
boooggy
Aug 11 2007, 04:25 AM
first install wmp11 slipstreamer.
then install nlite. copy your os source to your hard drive.
start nlite. when u get to the hotfixes, addons and updatepacks page add them in the order specified in the picture below....

then next.....and leave nlite do its job....

why do i need to install your slipstreamer as mentioned above when nlite alone does the slipstreaming of WMP11 & any hotfixes quite nicely. Does the slipstreamer perform some extra function nlite doesn't? nice work

Hey Boooggy.
I have try what you write, and add the hotfix after you screenshort, but under the install "registering components" i get this error
unregmp2.exe - Unable To Locate Component
"This application has failed to start because WMDRMSDK.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
The files unregmp2.ex_ and WMDRMSDK.DL_ are in the i386 folder
Do you now what i do wrong. ???
