Ello
Iam looking for a unofficial SP for a WIN 98, not for a 98 SE. Maybe I can upgrade my WIN 98 to 98SE? I dont know.
Any solution?
thx

One pack has been made.
Search and you'll find a thread in the service pack subforum.
Revive it if the download is dead so that someone can upload it again.

Check this thread
http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=92854 from last week (the last post is more relevant). Then you can apply the 98se unofficial service pack.

Win98 retail/Gold/RTM/FE (First Edition) canNOT be upgraded to Win98 SE, no matter which pack you install.
Win98 can only be upgraded to 98 SP2:
http://www.msfn.org/board/?showtopic=44732Similarly, 98 SE SP2 is only for Win98 SE:
http://exuberant.ms11.net/98sesp.htmlWin98 can be upgraded to Win98 SE only with a Win98 SE setup CD-ROM from M$.

Then
oldgoat's post in that thread is incorrect.

Ponch... a little late comment is better than none...
Go ahead and use the Win98FE you have, and apply the FE SP2 (per MDGx' suggestion).
You can trust that this will fix you up the best it can get for what you've got! It'll probably be the closest you can get to 98SE...
