Does HFSLIP support those two hotfix?
I think it is important for some reasons
1.
WindowsXP-KB896256-v4-x86
(hotfix for HT or DUAL CORE system performance enhancement)
2.
WindowsXP-KB916199-v2-x86
(hotfix for HT or DUAL CORE system clear-typed system crash down)

They are both supported

There's a newer version of the kernel, 3051 in
929338 vs. 3023 in
896256.
I can't speak as to WindowsXP-KB916199-v2-x86. Since I have a CoreDuo, I may give that one a whirl.
Just as a note, I tried a new build with both 929338 and 896256 in HF and it seems that 896256 won. Doing a windows update showed 929338 as a download.

KB896256 also contains halmacpi.dll so you still need both.
But it suprises me that Windows Update wants to install KB929338 again. The files in this package are nearly 2 months newer than those in KB896256 so they should be the ones on the new source.

HFSLIP appears to be doing the right thing (taking the newest files). I'll have to test further in a VM to see why Windows Update is nagging.
BTW... If you include both KB912919 and KB916199-v2, you no longer need KB896424.

Well, I tested this on my "real" computer (as opposed to a VM which isn't a good test platform because it simulates a single CPU setup) and Windows Update did not propose KB929338. I have an Athlon64 X2 (dual core).
KB896256, KB916199 and KB929338 were slipstreamed. I removed KB896424.
No errors in setuperr.log except for the usual (Flash and msxml2r.dll).

@S3pHiroTh, according to his site, Xable does not appreciate it when other people link directly to his files. Please use the main page instead.
