Just installed PopUpCop with the /s switch but when it's finished it opens Internet Explorer to log on to the company's Website.

How to prevent this in an unattended installation?

Register it:
CODE
;Registration for PopUpCop 2.0.3.17
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PopUpCop]
"RegCode"="XXXXXXXXXXXXX"
"UserName"="My Name is, Slim Shady"
Thanatos
A few of the things i install do that too, just ignore it, IE will close when you reboot windows anyway, or use PSKILL.exe from sysinternals to kill iexplore.exe
DarkBringer
Well, Thanatos, I used pskill.exe just after PopUpCop was installed and maybe it did stop Internet Explorer from launching but it didn't stop the Internet Connection Wizard from running. I still had to hit Cancel.

There's no escaping this one is it.

I know this is an old thread ran across it while I was looking....

TO keep the Connections manager from popping up put a fake phone book...

If you do have dial up then add your real one...
and have it select to not dial..

here is the EarthlinkDial-up.cmd I put it in the RunOnceEx ...
I added the dial here in the RunOnceEX cause if I did it early the folder is not made yet.... and the file is not copied.. folder doesn't exist yet... Another story...

here is the runonce key

REG ADD %KEY%\005 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\005EarthLink\EarthlinkDial-up.cmd" /f

here is what the phone book looks like.... rasphone.pbk
You will have to trap the real one if you have one...
