First off, I'm looking for the legitimate KB905474 WGA Notification. I'm not interested in any cracked versions being installed on my client's machines.

/Q seems to be the only option that the EXE will take. The other more standard switches it complains about.

During the Windows Installation, it waits for user input to hit next a few times and isn't completely quiet to allow an unattended install.

Anyone have a link to a legit MS WGA Notification addon that can work without user input during install?

Thanks for your reply. That's actually the WGA addon instead of the WGA notification addon, though.

Is the WGA notification. The torrent was broken, but RyanVM fixed it a few hours ago so it's properly downloading now.

I am having the same problem.

I'm also not interested in any "cracked" hotfix, I just want to use the normal hotfix
so its installed and not showing up in Windows Updates. Heres what I did...

1 - Opened the KB905474 file with WinRAR

2 - Dragged out the file inside, its called "WGANOT~1.EXE"

3 - Renamed that file to "KB905474.exe"

4 - Tested an install by doing this:

CODE
start /wait KB905474.exe /Q /O /Z

(I know just /Q can be used, but that reboots the machine without any warning!)

5 - When I put this into my ISO and installed it, Windows Update still says I need the KB905474 update.

Maybe it was because I left in the INF+DLL commands in my batch file (because that also
was not working) so I will retest just doing it the /Q /O /Z way and post back.

installing from runonce seems too work for me, but I also make the computer reboot
2 min after first login
