Is there anyway to upgrade from Fe to SE. I am not that great with 98 it has been along time sice I used it.(All my computer classes have been in XP Pro). I am looking for more compatiblity with newer hardware. If it is not possible, just say so, I understand stuff like this can be annoying.

There is no way, even illegal, you can update 98 to 98SE without an upgrade CD IMO.
