IS there a definitive way to make a bootable DVD using Nero 6? I have used this site and forums to create my unattended folder (love this site by the way thumbup.gif , loads of info).
I peeked on the TEG site and tried following the long way. I have an ISO image, but it's the bootable part that I'm stuck on. The TEG site talks about using Nero and ISOBuster to extract the Microsoft Bootable Image file (.img)
Nero asks for a file (.ima) What gives here? What would be the procedure to use to make a bootable DVD?

Again Thanks for all the info here

Hello!

I am completely new in making bootable disks so I really have no idea what are you guys talking about (sectors, .ima files, etc.) and I need help.
The problem is... I borrowed DVD with windows XP and some progs which are all installed when I install Windows. And I wanted to make a copy of that DVD. Since I have just gotten a new computer, I have only one DVD rom, so I could not just copy the disc. I made and Image of the disk with Power Iso. It made a .daa file. And just in case I also copyed all the files from the dvd. And I tried to burn all that stuff to DVD. Firstly i just burned all the folders, then I burned the image and I got only the image on the DVD. I tried another program, image extracted into folders on the dvd but still it was not a bootable DVD. I destroyed like 8 DVDs now and I am really getting mad... mad.gif angrym.gif I really need the Windows DVD for my another friend, and I don't have the DVD i've borrowed anymore... So I only have files from the DVD and an ISO image .daa file.

Does anyone have an idea what can I do?? Please answer as soon as possible!
