Oh and in a year when your liquid cooled processor croaks, you can pay a few grand for a new one, so you should by the 3yr apple care for $250. Hold on a sec lemme make your mouth water... Extreme Edition 2MB L3 Cache Intel® Pentium 4 Hyper-Threading @ 3.8GHz 2GB (533MHz) DDR ATI Radeon™ 9800 XT 256MB including VGA, DVI & S-Video connectors 1 Terabyte 7200RPM/ 8MB Buffer High-speed 12x DVD±RW HD's reportedly as fast as RAM http://www.go-l.com/desktops/machl38/features/index.htm Some people have reported that the link doesn't work, i'm guessing it's a dns problem as their server was also inaccessible by me a few weeks ago. Tough I'm not seeing a price estimate, I can tell you that a year ago it was in the $20,000 range |

if I spent $300k+ for a laptop I'd want a much bigger screen. And besides it's only 14carat white gold, what's the point 24k or nothing.

I still think 8 GBs is a waste regardless of what the user does on his home PC. i do too, when in the world would a computer user, using xp, home, pro, MCE or even if they were useing windows vista, have 8GB worth of apps open? Its just a waste of money This post has been edited by wolf74481: Feb 9 2006, 09:30 PM |
