Check out this topic, guys: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=127983 Remember, this is ALPHA version, and make sure you fulfill the requirements (virtualize the testing environment please; we don't want to break any physical machines). |

I don't know if you guys have decided the visual style on XPize 5. But i have a suggestion on a visual style that i like very good and think would be very nice in this package. Take a look at these screenshots and say what you think about it. You can download it here. 1. ![]() 2. And since I like the bootscreen in Vistapack, made by Damian666, would you be able to put it into this too? 3. Don't you like this? I do. xize 5 will come with a few visual styles, including all of the official Microsoft styles (Royale, Zune, Embedded), it may include Royale Noir, but inclusion of the Royale and Zune themes makes this redundant unless you like the green start button and blue controls/widgets. I'm compiling a shortlist of well-made third-party styles, Luna Element is amongst them, as is Watercolor Emico. What pains me is when visual style artists create a bunch of nice styles, but don't package them correctly so you end up with 4 or 5 top-level styles when you only need one, the result is a spammed-out list in the Display control panel. If I do include any, I'll be sure to ask them if they can repackage them specially for xpize to reduce hassle for the users. |

I am glad the project has not stopped and is still up and running, the last time I checked the site and was very disappointed to see the project close message. I just realized I had posted in the wrong thread to become a beta tester. Allow me to post this in the proper place: I would love to get in on the beta testing. I'm still using an ancient single-core 32-bit processor (to be precise: Athlon XP 2600+). It's a sluggish little fella, but it gets by. I'd enjoy throwing some XPize 5 at it. edit- I couldn't get logged into my old Codeplex account. I couldn't remember my name, password, nor the e-mail I used to sign up. Here is my new one: http://www.codeplex.com/site/users/view/dumpydooby This post has been edited by Dumpy Dooby: Feb 16 2009, 12:09 PM |

I like it. I'll be adding it to my assortment of themes. |

I would like to register as a beta tester, I currently use two screens and use the program Ultramon, which previous versions of Xpize had no problem with, so I can see if there is any issues with it in Xpize5
