@ belivakov = You make it and I will compile it with my registered version so there is no splash screen. Thank you for the bulgarian one.

Kels, what you think about new buttons? Works perfect in my DVD directory structure.

Hello,
is this possible with the autorun.exe?

I use the autorun.exe program.
Is it possible to tell the autorun program that it should start WPI with pointing to another useroptions.js file?

See http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=128614

Thanks
Dennis

The program I am using is able to pass on arguments, so yeah I am sure we could do that.

What is the name of the useroptions file you want to be used?

Is it possible for you to make a new one without the WPI directory. I mean something like this:
%cdrom%\WPI.hta

Thanks

Hi Kel

I'm trying, yet again, to catch up on all the developments, you guys just don't sleep do you?

anyways just wanted to know 2 things, which i think are inter-related

1) why was the autorun menu discontinued?

2) what is the reasoning behind switching from the hta to the exe?

thanks

Robots don't sleep.

With the new exe it does the reg keys needed for Office, impersonates Admin, disables the close button, etc. The hta is still there, the exe launches it with the proper 32/64bit mshta.

The autorun to me just seems like it needs a custom program for every one. I don't know for sure if Kel stopped updating it. I myself would. The launcher takes care of all we need and is universal.

Notice the thread title and where it says "discontinued"? I believe that says it all.
