  1. is i possible to create an email account (anywhere) which waits until all members of a group to respond to an "intial" email and then, distribute all the replies to the ïnitial" to everyone from that base account? eg. i send an email from my personal account, or from this core email account, to a group of people. ideally, in order for an efficient conversation or discussion to take place via email, all parties must respond to that email which i sent before further discussion can take place. therefore, after everyone has replied to my initial email, that core/master email account, distributes all the replies to my first email to everyone, including myself? does such a system exist? if so, where and how can i set it up? any help relating to this would be greatly appreciated.
  2. the typical scenario would be this: i send an email to 6 people in a distribution list regarding a certain topic. ideally, we would like for all replies to my initial email to be gathered into one master email and then, once EVERYBODY has replied to my first email, that master email would then be sent to everybody in my distribution list and includig myself. the reason for this purely for keeping track of one discussion point at a time. what usuall happens is that people repsond to emails sporadically and thus the crux of a topic is lost since sometimes servers are slow and the emails may be delayed, etc. if we can configure an email system to do what i have described, then our business communication via email can be more efficient and more focused as opposed to individuals sending emails at will.
  3. Yes,that is exactly wat i need!!! So @ least i know this is possible! How do i set such a system up? Is outlook capable of doing this?If not, which email system allows for this?

  5. okay, i solved my mojor problem about the "MBA Initialisation Press Crtl +Atl + B to configure".....it seems during my IDE cable swop overs, my power cable to my serail ata hard drive came loose however, even that problem is sorted and windows xp boots perfectly, i still detect my cdrw....the thing is, i tried different power cables to the drive and it still seems as if there is absolutley no power coming in....the dead giveaway is there arent any LEDs flashing and i cant even open the tray. but il try your guys suggestions and let u know whats up. anyways, i was planning to replaced that cdrw
  6. I tried to replace my old ide cable with a brand new one but upon replacing it, one of my drives (the cdrw) didnt work i.e. it got detected in my computer but whenever i put a cd into the drive it doesnt read and the computer slows down. so then i tried changing the orientation of the ide cable thinking maybe i had it the wrong way around but still i had the same problem. then i tried fiddling (unplugging and plugging) with another cable already plugged into the back of the cdrw drive. it was at this point that i realised that this cable wasnt even supposed to be there in the first place and the audio cable wasnt plugged in. after sorting that out, i proceeded to reboot but now my cdrw isnt even detected. i opened up the case and unplugged and plugged the power cable to the cdrw but upon rebooting, still nothing. it was at this point that things just went pear i tried using two ide cables i.e one for the dvd and one for the cdrw....still nothing. i tried placing back the old cable and still nothing....then, upon rebooting at the point where windows is about to start up (the point where it detects which drive to boot from), i see that one "cd-rom" is detected (probably the dvd-rom, but then this message suddenly pops up: "MBA Initialisation Press Ctrl +Alt + B to enter setup" the screen doesnt change over but then theres messages poping up that "network boot failed", amongst others. then the screen changes over to this message (i cant quite remember exactly): "boot failed....please insert system disk" whenever it rains it pours and a simple thing like replacing an ide cable turned into a disaster!!!! help please.
  7. IT WORKS ITS WORKS thanks man ur a legend! B)
  8. theres a strange problem thats happening to most of the pc's at work: once the pc is on, and you plug in a USB Flash Disk, the normal procedures such as the usb icon in the system tray appears and disappears and then the "remove usb icon" appears. normally, this would suggest that the flash disk is detected and ready. but if we go to My Computer, we cannot see the drive icon! the thing is, if i go into any other program like MS Word or Adobe Acrobat, i can see the "removable drive" icon in the list of drives!!! the only thing that solves this problem is to restart the machine with the flash drive already plugged in and then once its rebooted, you can see it in My Computer! this problem is EXTREMELY annoying since its sometimes not possible to restart our machines even though we may urgently require information of the flash disk. Please help. Title edited -- Please, use [TAGS] in your topic's title. --Sonic
