  1. LICENSETYPE Needs to be set to 0 for the Free Version
  2. mritter Thanks yes it will be usable and yes the driver needs to be installed before windows starts but what I am trying to install is the Martix Storage Console it is like a control panel for the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. If you can add the others listed with out to much trouble add them I might have a use for a few of them but would need to test them out. Thanks again, dolivas
  3. johnhc there is no log file it would refuse to run I found the problem it was a bad Grayed Condition I had set here it is. I was working on a grayed condition for checking if it was a VMware install and some how added it to my Windows Defender install file but that was really not the problem it was the ! in the wrong location in the condition. Thanks for taking the time to look at the question... prog[pn]=['Windows Defender']; uid[pn]=['WINDOWSDEFENDER']; desc[pn]=['Windows Defender is software that helps protect your computer against pop-ups, slow performance, and security threats caused by spyware and other unwanted software by detecting and removing known spyware from your computer. Windows Defender features Real-Time Protection, a monitoring system that recommends actions against spyware when it\'s detected, minimizes interruptions, and helps you stay productive.']; dflt[pn]=['yes']; forc[pn]=['no']; bit64[pn]=['no']; cat[pn]=['Anti-Spyware Applications']; cmds[pn]=['"%wpipath%\\Install\\WindowsDefender.exe"']; cond[pn]=['getFileVersion("%SYSTEMDRIVE%\\Program Files\\Windows Defender\\MSASCui.exe")!=="1.1.1593.0"']; gcond[pn]=['getSysManufacturer()==!"VMware']; pn++;
  4. I am getting this script error on a VMware test install trying to run WPI from the cd I also copied the files to the desktop of the VM and get the same error just pointing to the new location of the file. Anyone have any clue what is wrong?
  5. Hi guy’s excellent work you have going on here I was wondering if it would be possible to add a Condition like getHDDControllerID I would like to use it to check the Hard Drive Controller in the system if the system matches then I would want it to install this software Intel® Matrix Storage Console or it could be anything you want installed that matched the ID or Contoller. Here is the controller I am trying to detect PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2916&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_02\3&13C0B0C5&0&F8: Intel(R) ICH9R LPC Interface Controller - 2916 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2922&SUBSYS_B0051458&REV_02\3&13C0B0C5&0&FA: Intel(R) ICH9R/DO/DH SATA AHCI Controller Also does anyone know if there is way to check a DVD drive for lightscribe compatibility? If so this would also be handy if we could check this it could install the lightscribe software. Thanks again for the AWSOME program….
  6. mritter never mind was user error I got it working with this. {JSCRIPT}=WriteRegKey("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Doug\\DriveSpace\\Library_Icon",1%comma%"REG_DWORD") The only weired thing is when I saved it and then ran WPI to test it it changed the second comma with the variable but left the first one a comma? Looks like I was not putting the JSCRIPT in brackets was causing my first problem. Thanks dolivas
  7. mritter Happy New Years..... I am also have a problem with this I find that it is replacing the second comma with %comma% but not the first. After I changed the first one to %comma% and ram WPI I keep getting this error the second one I add just to check your example to see if it worked? Any thoughts? 8. Ok guys I found a solution for the "Profile does not exist" remove this entry from the msi LMIGetLicenseForProfile condition: NOT Installed sequence: 3720and all will be well no need for the autoit script. The problem with the can't find /x64 when you try to run it silent /qn or quiet is a problem with the original msi installer if you run the original msi with the /qb you will see you also receive the can't find the x64 I would bet that they will fix this with a new installer.
  9. It's under options then the patches tab

  13. I am running the latest version of this script ver 1.2 and have it set to not install the ask toolbar but I am still getting the popup box asking me if I want to make it the default search bar or install Nero with out it. What am I doing wrong? Also could some one tell me the best way to remove the toolbar from the installer and then re-pack the .exe I have tried 7zip but it keeps asking me where to unzip the file? I did set 7zip to make an .exe. Thanks for the time and any help you can give, Dean
