Hi, I would like to run my wpi.cmd on a newly installed computer. (automaticaly of course) Well, I know RUNAS, RUNASSCP, SANUR, SUDOWIN, CPAU and other similar programs. I have a problem with them: my administrator havent got any password. How can I start any program with admin rights, with black password? (Change user to admin is not a right solution! ) Joc

Please help! During TXT install I got "QL40XX.SYS not found" and the install will terminated. I have ql40xx.sy_ in my I386 folder, and in my \I386\$OEM$\$1\Drivers\RAID\ folder too. Lines in txtsetup.sif and dosnet.inf are correct. Any idea? P.S.: I have SP3 and tried 5.2 and 5.2 RAID slipstreamer too.

Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 (12.01) - need help & ideas
Joc replied to Gremo's topic in Application Installs
To kill PSIServive: pskill -t "Corel Photo Downloader.exe" reg delete HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run /v "Corel Photo Downloader" /f reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ProtexisLicensing /v "Start" /t REG_DWORD /d 4 /f You have to kill Corel Photo Downloader.exe from the memory, to avoid re-register PSIService. In any english operating system it worked properly... I think there was a localization (language) problem. Joc

Hey, thank you for your work, but for me it didnt working... Please help me to find out why. I made a TEMP folder in my drive C: and copied dosnet.inf and txtsetup.sif. From command line: RAID_Slipstreamer_x86_v5.1_Build_071204.exe /install /source c:\temp /os xp It seems everything is correct. But it made NOTHING except a dir structure $OEM$\$1\Drivers\RAID. What did I made wrong? My config files are untouched, same as before. Please help! Joc

I put it just before the cleanup.cmd line in RunOnceEx.cmd and used /quiet /update-no /no-default /norestart and used the cleanup to reboot. seems to work just fine edit: seems I was a bit premature It works, but only after rebooting the second time. Is there any _real_ solution? I would like to reuse my wpi anytime... Joc

I use this command line: mkisofs.exe -no-pad -joliet-long -V WXPEE -o -z -r -N -d -D -U -iso-level 4 -boot-load-size 4 -relaxed-filenames -no-iso-translate -no-emul-boot -b cdboot/fullboot.bin mydvd.iso mydvd Please help! I have tried this program and seem OK except it recognize my Windows XP installation like a Windows 2003... I checked, my ntdll has 5.1.2600.2180. Other question: are you sure I have to place the drivers into the \I386\$OEM$\$1\Drivers\RAID folder? You wrote "OEMPnPDriversPath=Drivers\RAID;" to include the answer file. What is the root folder? Not the Systemdrive? Joc

Firefix and Addon Silently for XP
Joc replied to ethanmcf's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
The simplest solution: Run firefox2.exe with /S option. It makes it silently. Then make an SFX archive: C:\Document and settings\username\application data\Mozilla" folder. It contains your extensions and settings of Firefox. My SFX script: Path=%APPDATA% SavePath Silent=1 Overwrite=1 Thats all. Joc -
It won't work, when the main exe is run, hidden .sys files are checked for and if not there created in the Windows System dir, one is the KGyGaAvL.sys and the other one is a randon named file that is different with every Windows install, you could activate it, back up the sys files and the protexis reg entries and reinstall PSP on the same Windows install and it should be activated, if you reload Windows on the same machine those same files wont work I have tried. Yeah, you have right. I have tried only on my machine... I think if someone hack the main exe, this will be a real solution of activate. Or a corporate edition... Joc
