  1. This is what i have on my unattended slipstreamed XP SP3, with IE7 and WMP11 included : IE7 : KB932823.exe, KB950759.exe SYSTEM : KB890830.exe KB892130.exe KB905474.exe KB941569.exe KB950749.exe KB950760.exe KB950762.exe KB951376.exe (v2 !) KB951698.exe KB951830.exe
  2. these have been given before, so you can find them by searching For DirectX, it's impossible. But, there is a solution : you have to use DirectX8 launcher (dxsetup.exe), and a command line like that : %systemdrive%\winapps\directx\dxsetup.exe /install /silent. It works ! For other programs, i don't know cause i don't install them on an unattended CD/DVD.
  3. I think you are using a S-ATA hard disk with an unknown controller on your motherboard ... (unknown for Windows 2k !). You'll have to add a driver with F6 method ...
  4. Hi, no problem with integration in "CMDLINES.TXT" like this : %systemdrive%\winapps\SP4URP1\SP4_URP1.EXE /quiet /passive /norestart But beware, the real name is : Windows2000-KB891861-v2-x86-xxx.EXE (where 'xxx' stands for your language !)
  5. Hi, i've the same problem at work ... but only on DELL PC ! I'm also interested by a solution for this problem ... And remember, i think throwing all DELL all Dell PC against a wall is not a solution :-)
  6. it works if you change Exe. You have to replace dxsetup from DirectX 9 (size : 473kb) with the one from DirectX 8 (size : 47Kb). After, launch it with (it's the commandline I use in a BAT/CMD file scripted in "CMDLINES.TXT") : %systemdrive%\winapps\directx\dxsetup.exe /install /silent
  7. Here's a part of my hotfixes script : ECHO Installing KB923789... REM - Vulnerabilities in Macromedia Flash Player from Adobe Could Allow REM - Remote Code Execution ECHO. start /wait %systemdrive%\winapps\Hotfixes\KB923789.exe /q:a /r:n ECHO Done! ECHO. I haven't 913433 in my list, because i think 923789 fully replaces the old 913433 ! Bye.

  9. Hi everyone, i have a question about the buggy KB918899 ... Microsoft has just released an updated patch for IE6 SP1 with Windows 2000 and Windows XP pre-SP2. But, what about the updated patch for IE6 SP1 with Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 ? When i read the security bulletin, it seems that every system is concerned by this buggy patch. Is the initial patch correct or Microsoft is very late ?
  10. My method in a batch file called in "cmdlines.txt" is : %systemdrive%\winapps\wmp\MPSetup.exe /q:A /c:"setup_wm.exe /Q /R:N /DisallowSystemRestore" ... and it works. (I've renamed main archive to be under 8 chars.)
