  1. Thank you for the info. I guess I was expecting a somewhat different result but your explanation clears up all. I'm using reg entries ahead of the wpa calls to set the config file. Seems to work as a way to sorta make a non-on demand on-demand. At least I understand the intent of the parm now; much thanks for clarifying.
  2. Following the FAQ spec for command line parms, config= seems to be ignored. Specifically, the last config used in WPI is the only one recognized. The registry appears to retain this value changing it only with a Save or Save As. Config= does not appear to override the stored value. This in 5.6 (No, I don't have any spaces in the name of the config files.)
  3. Guess some quote marks of some kind are needed but can't figure out where. This -> %wpipath%\Install\Adobe_Photoshop_CS2.msi /qb in WPI wizard Yields this -> cmd1[pn]=["%wpipath%\\Install\\Applications\\PhotoShop\\Setup\\Adobe_Photoshop_CS2.msi /qb"]; in resulting .js file Which in turn yields this in the log -> cmd1 *** Fail *** (returned code undefined): "f:\WPI\Install\Applications\PhotoShop\Setup\Adobe_Photoshop_CS2.msi /qb" for obvious reason of qb placement. I've tried various double and single quote combos to no success so can use some help about proper format so that /qb switch is handled properly. TIA
  4. 1st Part: install0.5.0.part1.rar2nd Part: install0.5.0.part2.rar is all I see for downloading. And there is not even that on the last page which is supposed to have a new part deux.
  5. Hello-this thread seems to be OK for the following question. I've diligently searched the Internet to no avail to find out how to use Dameware's Mini Remote Control over the Internet. A couple of posts explain using VNC but nothing for Dameware. The only comment I found was to user VPN if you use the Internet. I do not have any Domain Controllers and Dameware has been tested over the LAN but the next step, remote control over the Internet, is where I'm stuck. Have DSL connection and PC's are behind Sunbelt firewall. I can configure the firewall as needed but I can't seem to find how to request a connection that would specify the Internet (and then the desired PC I guess.) Hope this is clear and TIA for any help. Scratch this - would delete it if I could (searched posting to no avail). Found out how to do this - sorry - Admin may certainly delete this clutter.
