  1. A version of TetraVex written in Delphi by Mark Billig (mbillig02 AT comcast DOT net) http://delphi.about.com/library/code/tetravex_exe.zip http://delphi.about.com/library/code/tetravex_src.zip http://delphi.about.com/od/gameprogramming/a/tetravex.htm Runs on Win7 64-bit
  2. I sent MDGx the fixed patch a while ago. Please do not send things like this to me via PM. Please post it on the forum so more people are aware. the_guy I guess you did see it then. OK, you want it here, here it is <shrug> . I'm really not used to dealing with communities of hackers (using the original meaning & positive connotation ); it seems truth in information really is king. And since I don't post much (not much to say) I'll take this as an opportunity to tell all of you who contribute "I love this stuff!! You guys ROCK!!" Anyway, I forgot to mention that I e-mailed MDGx via the feedback link on his site, since I didn't know who had dropped the ball. Apparently it's in MDGx's court now.
  3. results of search for "qfe" in c:\windows C:\WINDOWS\INF\QFE.INF C:\WINDOWS\INF\QFECHECK.GID C:\WINDOWS\INF\QFECHECK.HLP results of Start->Run "REGSVR32.EXE c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\jscript.dll" Dialog: RegSvr32 - LoadLibrary("C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\jscript.dll") failed - A device attached to the system is not functioning.
  4. 4) RUNDLL: Error loading C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NMMKCERT.DLL SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED (after restart from "Add/Remove Software"->"WindowsComponents" ) 5) similar message to #4 re:...\netmee~1... These occurred after the SP install was fully completed. I proceeded to remove the unnecessary programs via "Add/Remove Programs"->"Windows Setup" including removing NetMeeting. While starting up after the obligatory restart I received the two error dialogs mentioned above. The second dialog (#5 above) I did not copy out as it referred to NetMeeting which I knew I had just had removed (bad assumption which I will blame on lack of sleep). Actually, the only "similarity" to the dialog in #4 that I can be sure of is that it was an error dialog. The first dialog (#4 above) seems to reference a DLL used by NetMeeting http://www.bold-fortune.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=997 , though it puzzles me why it would be referenced by RUNDLL on that restart. Neither dialog has returned. I may decide to do the whole process over again since the system restore disk requires very little user input. Any suggestions for monitoring tools if I do that?
