AlexH: read it a million times. But that has ZERO to do with my probem. I'm asking for help installing a non-enterprise version of Office. I'm not even trying to do an administrative install point. Because i know you can't. So save your "read the guide" tips. Maybe this isn't even possible. But i'm hoping someone out there has figured this out. Because i can't be the only person that has a retail version of MS Office. Thanks alot

I've searched the forums and some people say you can use /S some say you can't. Just wondering if anyone has figured this out. I'm also wondering where the registration info is stored. Thanks for any help

What is an enterprise edition of MS Office?

I just reformatted my computer. It still just pauses on MS Office for like 2 min or so, then goes on i thought maybe this time it installed. But no such luck. There has to be a way? Please help... Thanks

Hmm... there is no setup.ini in Office2003\Files? There is one in Office2003\Files\SETUP though, and those lines are nowhere to be found? There is also one in both Office2003\Files\OWC10 and OWC11 where all of the lines arecommented out? So which one needs editing or am i lookin at the wrong one? I've been trying to install my version of office 2003 for months now. So i'd figured i would ask around here. I am having a very similar problem. When is gets to Office 2003 on my runonceex, it says initializing office 2003... yeah yeah yeah... then just skips to the next item, and doesn't install i have this code REG ADD %KEY%\077 /VE /D "MS Office 2003" /f REG ADD %KEY%\077 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Applications\Office2003\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=Unattended.MST /qb-" /f And all of the files off the CD are copied into the /Office2003/ folder. I was just getting ready to dowload thunderbird and figure out how to silently install it, when i noticed that they have a complete suite with all of their apps and even an irc client. I need some help with WMP10 file associations. For some reason i slipstream WMP10 using Bashreat's method (and i tried posting in his slipstream forum topic.. but no help), and itgoes perfect. I still have to run through the first time setup screens and whatnot. and i select all the files to associate it with. yet it still asks for open with.. everytime i selct an mp3 file??!?!? i've selected open with.. WMP10 (and use everytime select box) about 200 times and it never takes. What's the deal with this? it's a major pain... has anyone figurre oue how to get WMP10 w/ associations owrking perfectly, it wouldn't matter to me slipstream/runonceex either way as long as i get full fuction... thanks alot

I'm trying to create a script for auto button pushes and whatnot for a visual basic 6 installer i have. i need it to type in my password and uncheck the msfn help files install. and do everything else.. ie. the next.. next... i figured i'd trying and use autoit, but the documentation doesn't tell me how to create my script. Could someone help me compile it? Thanks

okay i got: /ACE /Driver /WDM_All /BIN all i want is the driver files... so just put the driver files in the OEM path? there is a /2KXP_INF folder in the Driver folder? which do i need? Thanks

Okay you lost me i have the setup file foe the all 3 package. What do i do with it first? it won't let me uncompress with winrar? do i need to do a -R? how do i tell which files are which? Thanks

this is really weird i just opened it in firefox and it worked... lol, for some odd reason IE won't open it past that point. probably just me...? thanks alanoll by the way Alanoll, do you use the Pack? and are their any errors.. it just install all the updates right? sounds really good... first time i've seen it. hope it works

I've downloaded the latest all-in-one package from the ATI website. It looks like it has the drivers, the control panel (catalyst control center??), and some WDM capture or something? i've been scrolling through ATI guides for about 4 days now trying all the methods possible. i need to install the entire package. i think i'm looking for something with a /K switch. could someone tell me which files i need to extract or what i need to do please? thanks in advance...

when i run my XCOPY commands i keep getting a "is this path a directory or a file?" and i have to input a F or D to go on? what's the deal? Thanks

All i can find are reg tweaks for not running MSN at startup and pskill processes. I am trying to figure out how to not install MSN Toolbar and uncheck set MSN to default Homepage, when i install messenger 6.2? Can this be done? Thanks

I'm installing some WinTV Drivers which are wise installers... i'm using the /S switch, and at the very end of install it asks for a reboot. So i'm using pskill to end it but it won't work?! i installed it as usual and then ctrl-alt-del and saw that the file id or whatevr was just the same as the file itself? it that how it's suppose to be??? here's my code REG ADD %KEY%\210 /VE /D "Hauppauge WinTV Drivers" /f REG ADD %KEY%\210 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Applications\WinTV\setup.exe /S" /f REG ADD %KEY%\200 /V 2 /D "pskill setup.exe" /f But it still asks for reboot.. any thoughts? It's a "dat" file. And the program needs that file.. it holds all the registration info specific to my license. So what is better? Xcopy or Copy in batch (cmd) files? Thanks
