  1. I cannot logon locally to our 2003 Server. The user name and password fields are grayed out. The field that allows for changing the domain is active, but that doesn't help me much. A reboot will make it function once, but as soon as you log off, the problem is back. The server seems to be functional in all other respects. I can't keep restarting a production server, please help. I have seen this problem mentioned on other forums, but not here. No one seems to have a solution.
  2. Update: Even using AutoIt didn't work. ZoneAlarm blocked the script!
  3. I hope someone finds this information usefull. It was my hope to do an unattended install of a fully configured ZoneAlarm firewall. Searching the forums helped get me past the registration screens etc., but did not help with the configuration. After investigation I finally found that the configuration information is stored in "%windir%\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB". I thought I was home free when I found this, but it wasn't that simple. I can copy a previously created file into this if I stop ZoneAlarm from the system tray right click menu. To do it unattended has eluded me. It turns out this file is used by both zlclient.exe and vsmon.exe. Vsmon is running as a service. If I disable it to copy in the file I cannot get it going again. It refuses to start. I have to reinstall ZoneAlarm to get it going again. I finally gave up and resorted to using AutoIt. If anyone has come up with a more elegant solution I would like to know.
  4. Hi I am trying to use this with office 2k. I greated a .mst file from an adminitration point made by someone else in our company. I keep getting the following error message when running officeshrink3. Windows Installer This patch package could not be opened. Verify that The patch package exists and that you can access it. or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer patch package. Is this talking about the .mst file? The Custom Installation Wizard can read it.
