I am running IIS 5.1 on winxp pro machine for a very small intranet site. All of my pages use server-side includes and thus have to end in .asp or the scripts are displayed in plain text instead of being executed. The problem then is the Index server used to query the document base will not return any results because it filters ASP files. How can I get the MS Index server to include ASP files in the query results? I tried to trick the file system into treating asp files as plain text by using regedit and changing the PersistentFileHandler for the .asp class to the same fileHandler as plain text but for some reason the change keeps getting reverted back to the original DWORD value by some other program or the OS. -Dave
