Changing "C:\\Program Files" to "C:\\Program Files (x86)" helps slightly only in that it puts the correct icon on the desktop, but it is unlablelled and does nothing. Unless there is a different key, or some other additional changes to the registry, I don't know if it will work at all. It might just not be possible to do since OUTLOOK is 32-bit and x64 is 64-bit.

This does not work, all it does is put a blank page icon on the x64 desktop that does nothing. I guess no one has found a way to put the OUTLOOK icon on x64 desktop. I've looked at literally a hundre dor more forums now and none of the fixes work.
