  1. Hi, Since I'm currently busy making my first Automated windowsXP DVD and I also don't want to install unessesairy stuff (like MSN and games and what not). So I looked at the Components list in the [Components] list section of the tutorial. But i can figure some out, but there are a lot of wich i don't know waht they mean, or wether it's possible (or advisible) to turn em off. Here is a list of components; The blue ones are components where i'm just guessing what they mean, or what someone told me they believed it was. The red ones are Components where i'm pretty sure about the meaning, and probably will turn off during install. The green color means that i'm probably going to turn these components off during the install If some of them aren't advisivble to turn off, please do tell. [Components] AccessOpt = On Accessibility Wizard? Appsrv_console = On Aspnet = On AutoUpdate = Off Seems Obvious... BitsServerExtensionsISAPI = On BitsServerExtensionsManager = On Calc = On Calculator.exe Certsrv = On Certsrv_client = On Certsrv_server = On Charmap = On Chat = On Clipbook = On Complusnetwork = On Deskpaper = On Dialer = On Network Diallers??? WMPOCM = On Zonegames = Off Game -> Obsolete I Also found a file from microsoft wich makes it all more complicated, becouse there are a lot of components in here that aren't listed. The file can be found HERE. And seems like the component "msmsgs = off" isn't listed at the reference page made by DaveXP. So the $ 1.000.000 question is, What do these components mean and is it advisible to turn them off? If you do know one of em, be kind and post the answer, (i'll try and keep the list up to date...) Thanks! *Disclaimer: This is my first post (and thread), I've searched the site for the explanations and also google and another tech forum, but can't seem to find an answer to this question. The only topic with a similar question is This topic. But diden't help me much further either.
