  1. hi I upgraded to startisback+ 1.5 and now whenever I start my PC this is what I see (see attached). As soon as I click the start button it goes away but it is rather annoying *EVERY* time I start my pc I get this. also the issue of the taskbar jumping off the bottom of the screen is still not solved for me (the last issue I posted about) regards
  2. It would seem also that the start menu setting to "Don't Display" or "link" to the Administrative Tools does not seem to do anything.....it is always visible on my start menu.
  3. Tihiy I downloaded the "RC" and the startmenu now shows up but it is in the bottom left corner of the left screen and not where the start button is (centre screen) as per NVidia setting. refer jpg. Also I have noticed some times the taskbar just reverts back to all three screens without changing the option in NVidia control panel. and it still makes the taskbar jump off the bottom of the screen
  4. Tihiy, my taskbar is at the very bottom of the screen but when I click the start button it jumps up to where it is in the screen shot and the start menu looks as if it is trying to display underneath the desktop wallpaper
  5. Hi, I am using startisback+ 1.0.2 on windows 8.1 pro WMC x64. I have 3 monitors running in surround mode. The latest NVidia driver has an option to "confine taskbar to center display" which I want to use......unfortunately when I use this option the startisback+ startmenu does not show up when I click the orb. when NVidia "centering" option is not selected and the taskbar is stretched across the bottom of my three monitors the start menu works fine. don't know whats going on here because on windows 8 with startisback 2.1.2 there was no problem. Can this be fixed at all? thankyou
  6. I can add that for Windows Me this info is also stored in suwin.exe (stored in PRECOPY1.CAB), string resource 96, string 1526 otherwise you will get setupx.dll mismatch error
  7. If i were to make a slipstream XP SP3 cd from an XP SP2 cd are there any redundant files in the I386 folder left over from SP2 that can be safely removed other than "SP2.CAB" & "SP2.CAT". My goal being to end up with an exact copy of the original MSDN SP3 iso. cheers in advance
