  1. Do I need all of the hotfixes for IE7 if I install SP3? Or do I only need KB947864? And for WMP11 I need ALL of the hotfixes right? The 14 that are on Boooggy's WMP11 Slipstreamer page. On that page it also says that it no longer integrates KB908536 or KB894871, so would I need those too? Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me a definitive answer!
  2. I'm confused, is there a new SP3 other than the final that was released on May 6?
  3. Does anyone know what hotfixes I should include with my SP3, IE7, and WMP11 disc so it is fully up to date? I see different people say a lot of different things.

    WMP Hotfix

I thought that SP3 had ALL of the hotfixes for IE7 and WMP11? That's completely wrong. It doesn't even include IE7 and WMP11. So to be up to date, I have to install ALL of the hotfixes for IE7 and WMP11? I knew SP3 didn't have IE7 and WMP11 in it, but I thought it had all of the hotfixes. Is there a list of all of the IE7 hotfixes somewhere? I know where the list is for WMP11.

    WMP Hotfix

I thought that SP3 had ALL of the hotfixes for IE7 and WMP11?
  6. If I add all of the IE7 hotfixes and WMP11 hotfixes, will that cause any problems with SP3? Will the most up-to-date files be kept?
  7. I plan on Slipstreaming SP3, IE7, and WMP11 to a XP Home SP1a disc. I already have the KB947864 hotfix for IE, are there any more that I would need? I saw some other people pointing to one for WMP11, is there a hotfix that isn't installed with SP3 for WMP11?
  8. Will the ISO image that Microsoft offers on their website be of any use to me? Will my product key work, or do I still have to slipstream SP3 myself?
  9. Great, Thank you, hopefully I won't have any more questions.
  10. Wow, that was easier than I imagined. After I make all of these files, I can just burn the contents of my new OFFICE11 folder to a CD then run Setup.exe from the disc and it will install right? Or do I have to use some type of ISO program?
  11. Ok, I think I will try the Chained Install. The Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats has a service pack available, Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 1 (SP1). Would I do a Chained Install with the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats then the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 1 (SP1), or could I somehow slipstream SP1 into the Compatibility Pack, then add the slipstreamed version to the Chained Install. Also, what is a silent switch, I am pretty new to all of this slipstreaming stuff. After I make all of these files, I can just burn the contents of my new OFFICE11 folder to a CD then run Setup.exe from the disc and it will install right? Or do I have to use some type of ISO program? Thanks.
  12. Great, so when I install Office again, it will already be activated? Is it possible to slipstream the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats with the install? So far I've slipsteamed SP3 plus 9 hotfixes and the install has only grown by 1.5%, this program rocks!
  13. Great. On the Updates list, for Office Pro Enterprise Edition 2003, all of those updates will work with Office Basic 2003 except the Security Update for Publisher 2003 (KB946254) because there is no Publisher with basic, right? And, if I burn the resulting slipstreamed admin install to a disc, will I have to enter the product key again, even though I already entered it when I first made the Admin install? I know I am asking A LOT of questions, but thanks for your help so far!
  14. Does this work with Office 2003 Basic Edition? I can't get it to work. Also, this is the disc that came with my Dell PC, if that matters. Is the workaround in the first post have any negative impacts, Product Key not valid, becomes not Genuine?
  15. No, the program can not create ISO image, but next version will have support for that. And, there is no some guide. Just download program, and read Help file. If you don't understand some specific stuff, just ask. Cheers Excellent, when is the next version going to come out?
  16. I am new to this so bear with me... Does this program make a .iso image that i can burn to another disc with SP3 slipstreamed, like what nLite does with XP installs? Is there a guide for this program?
